Another make-over : suurkool

Hello again!

Make-overs are quite popular these days! I've done one now of suurkool, but another girl asked me to do a make-over on her as well.

suurkool is a Dutch girl who writes for a blog and she already did a makeover on me. Which I really liked! =D So now it's my turn to do one on her!

Here we go:

I did a complete make-over, but I don't match make-up and clothing. I thought her make-up and clothes were pretty basic, so I decided to give her that something extra.

In her make-up I added colour, and I hope you like the combination! And I went for a short

haircut, because I think she can wear it off! ^^

Here's the result of that:

For her clothes, I just picked an outfit I liked. I hope you like my combination of the HB skirt and the striped top. As well as the long socks I added. Many people may not like it, but I actually liked when I put them on.

Fashion.Eliza's makeover

This is Fashion.Eliza's makeover! 
She left us a lovely comment on our previous post, requesting one!

First of, I thought she had too much going on, and decided to get rid of it.
Then, it was time to pick a hairstyle and I decided to pick this risque updo, that tends to make our Medolls look a little strange, and emphasizes the eyebrows and forehead a little too much, but I thought it suited her face best, since I was planning on going unaccessorized!

This hairdo was made popular by FashiongodS, who is also known for her dark expressive eyebrows.

For this look, I decided to take a little inspiration from her, and emphasize Fashion.Eliza's hair and brows!
The make-up itself is meant to look wintery and discrete.

julia_star-08's makeover

Hey guys,

It's been a long time since I last did a makeover, but today I'd like to start talking about the new blog feature.

This was simply a random stardoller I picked, to show you how good a green eyeshadow/orange lipstick combination can look if your Medoll has a darker skin tone.

Okay, so, first of all I must say I agree with Melissa that this kind of falsies look a little cheap. I tend to use three pairs together, when I do, spaced horizontally, not vertically, to create a more natural and full look.

So, yeah, I thought julia_star-08's face was really pretty - the reason I chose her! - but a little too charged and decided to take some weight off of it, while still adding some funky earrings.

sab_pink's makeover

Hello!

I'm glad Daphne is back! =D

Today I was quite bored, and when I was talking to my friend sab_pink I asked if I could do a make-over on her. And she agreed!

So, first I did the face and then I did her clothes.

When I did her face, the 1st thing I did was to delete the fake eyelashes, I really think they're ugly and look very cheap!

And then I just experimented a little with the make-up and ended to mix two colours of lip stick: red & pink. I think it's looks edgy and cool. Because the lips were standing out, I didn't do a lot make-up on the eyes.

This is the result:

When I saw her outfit, I thought that not everything matched and in a way it was a bit too much for my taste. So I turned it down a little, and made a 'new' dress. I didn't add a lot of accessories, because I don't think this outfit needs it!

Deep Purple GLOSSY Lip Tutorial !

Hey everyone, I'm back!
And there are two things I'm bringing to you:

* this lip tutorial that will allow you to make your Medoll's lips look quite GLOSSY!

Keep reading if you're interested in getting that perfect purple glossy look on your Medoll's lips! And tell me what you think of our step-by-step tutorials and fashion tips.

Okay, so this is what it looks like, but I will write step-by-step notes, just in case you miss out on something!

So, first thing you need to be aware of is that there are plenty of different mouths to choose from, and while some already have some shading and volume, others look completely flat.

In Fig. 6 you can see how this looks like applied on lips that have absolutely no volume to begin with!
I know, GLOSSY!

Okay, so first of all, start with naked lips that match your Medoll's skin tone the best.

Then, use your Black Lip Pen from dots to fill the areas that look naturally darker. This will be the inner part of your lips, and the corners of your mouth.

Next apply a coat of Plum Lipstick or whatever color you choose for your own look, avoiding the areas where the light would normally hit.
In this case, as I'm using a set of lips that already have some volume, those areas are already a bit lighter.
I advise you to start with this kind of lips, even if you want to choose a "flat mouth" in the end. It's easier to work with these, and then all you have to is switch!

Using your Blush Pink Lipstick you can now create an area of light on your lower lips. And keep filling the rest with the plum color, except for the corners, which should remain darker.

Go over this lighter part you just created very carefully with your Plum Lipstick from dots and make sure you leave a very tiny portion uncovered, so your Medoll's lips will appear shiny!

And that's it everyone! You can then pick any mouth you'd like.
This looks way prettier than your average Plum Lipstick application!

F0BROX's makeover

Hello!

A few days ago, F0BROX asked me if I could make her an outfit, for her to wear it afterwards.. And of course I said 'Yes'! I asked her a few questions, and she said I had carte-blanche.

I chose to go for a glam, chic, but still rock style and made 2 outfits..

I really couldn't chose which one was nicer, so made 2.. Hihii

BEAUTY ON A BUDGET II

Hi everyone!
So, I've been busy for a while but now I'm back with new STARDOLL fashion tips.

Today's look is entirely non-superstar, just like this one, and Halloween themed as well!

But, before I reveal what the budget was for this outfit, there is somethings I'm quite excited about, that I must let you know of.
And that something is... well, there's a new feature coming soon to this blog! It's a dynamic and simple fashion advice column! I won't say more, you'll see for yourselves.

So, let's get back to our subject.
The outfit I put together is blatantly Gaga-esque, Halloween themed and very electric - a few  tendencies that are marking stardoll.com for the moment, and with a total cost of 29 stardollars !


The main piece here - that what makes this outfit worth looking at - are the new Printed Satin Boots by bisou.
They cost 6 stardollars, are non-superstar and absolutely amazing.

The matching gloves are the Orange Gloves @ RIO, that cost 4 stardollars.

I got the Catwoman Pants from Tingeling for 4 stardollars as well, but you can use any black leggings or skinny pants that fit into those boots. There are plenty of similar looking items all over stardoll.com.

Only 4 stardollars is also what the top my medoll's wearing costs. It's the U Neck Tank from Stardoll Girls, and for 1 sd only you can get the Brown Skinny Belt @ bisou.

On her right shoulder she's wearing two Seastars from the Suite Shop @ Pets (3 sds each) and her "make-up" is very simple!
Two red Face Hearts from Splendid, each one on the outer corners of her eyes. These are quite inexpensive too - 2 sds - and can be found at the Jewelry section.

November HB

Here they are, the new HB:

I think they’re nice, but they’re not so fabulous! I prefered October HBs.. But I’ll probably buy most of the items. My favourite items are the belt and the black Louis Vuitton dress..

Here’s my review, afterwards tell me what YOU think!

1. Rio shirt coming out 3/11: Like I said, this is one of my favourites! It’s inspired by Louis Vuitton and I love it! It’s so cool and I imagine me wearing it. It’s very versatile, I think you can make a various number of looks with it! => 9/10

2. Fallen Angel belt coming out 5/11: This item I love even more! It has my 2 favourite colours: Black and purple, it has a rock feel, will be buying it without any doubt! => 10/10

3. Fudge Rose shirt coming out 9/11: It’s nice, but not fabulous. I like the flowers on it, it’s gives it something extra, but that’s all .. I have to see the shirt in total to see what it’s like.. => 6.5/10

4. Pretty in Pink stretch tights coming out 11/11: The tights are alright, but I don’t think I can pull it off and that you can wear it with a lot. Don’t know if I’ll buy them, but I’m curious to see if anyone knows how to wear them! => 5.5/10

5. Bisou bag coming out 13/11: This I love! Again combining the black and purple! We’ll be buying it for sure! It has something artistic in it, it’s just fabulous I think! => 8.5/10

6. Bisou vest coming out 18/11: This item is very nice! I think you can make very cool rock outfits with it! I’ll buy it probably! => 7.5/10

7. Fallen Angel boots coming out 20/11: These boots are nice and cool.. I like them, I already imagine me wearing these in different kind of ways: with pants to go shopping, with a dress, etc… You’ll see! => 7.5/10

8. Bisou dress coming out 24/11: The dress isn’t very special for me.. It’s just very ordinary, I like the colour, but not in that much fabric. Don’t know if I’ll buy it. => 4.5/10

9. Rio necklace coming out 26/11: I don’t know what to think of the necklace, and if it’s worth buying it, can I match it with a lot of thing in my closet? A lot of ? with this item.. => 5/10

10. Rio skirt coming out 30/11: And last but not least is the brown high-waisted skirt that I love, it’s totally my style! With high heels, a belt and some chique accessories, it can be fabulous! => 8/10
